CLIENT: Ville de Montréal
Major renovation, redevelopment, upgrading and expansion of a 2-rink arena, one of which is still being used while the work is under way. Included in our contract: work related to decontamination and asbestos removal, the complete replacement of refrigeration and mechanical systems, the installation of new heating distribution systems and new ventilation-dehumidification units, the implementation of controls on the new systems and the addition of technical expansion, etc.
The building envelope has been almost completely redone.
The new building is constructed on piles. LEED Silver certification is in progress.
